Berlin, Tempelhofer Feld 2016 | The Great Journey
In collaboration with Theater Magica
As if the stars had fallen from the sky!
3.000 Candles. A huge maze - specially designed for each place. 300 old suitcases. Suitcase towers, suitcase fountains, visitors' suitcases - everyone embarks alone on The Great Journey through the labyrinth. 3 hours In which figures reveal their stories - with their eyes, their voices, their bodies.
A sea of lights flowing over town squares and parks, through tunnels and great halls. For those who venture inside, it becomes a playful labyrinth of lights full of poetic theatrical moments. Eight characters tell us of their dreams, of being stuck, and of their little islands of happiness – a poetic play on the way to the centre.
Let yourself be enchanted by magical images, by the expressive play and the poetic stories. Linger until you’re carried out into the night again.

Rain
The Great Journey will also take place in light to medium rain (except for severe weather warning, storm etc.). We recommend sturdy shoes and rainwear. Please refrain from using umbrellas. There are not always paved paths. Unfortunately, this means that the production can only be experienced with limited accessibility. If the event has to be cancelled for weather reasons before one hour of performance time has been completed, the ticket entitles the holder to admission on another performance date of the Great Journey.
