The world makes a groundbreaking discovery: at a construction site, a sealed box contains the complete plan of a Perpetuum mobile found. The inventor was Johann Bessler, medicus, mechanicus and alchemist of the early 18th century. Once triggered, his eternal wheel turned for many weeks.
Science has long since discovered the Perpetuum mobile relegated to the realm of the impossible. And yet: Are we not living in an eternally turning world wheel that - once set in motion - can no longer be stopped and produces a "more" of everything?
The futurist Paul Scheerbart envisions his idea of the Perpehs by means of a crazy projection apparatus. In an impressive experiment, visitors can admire the so-called butterfly effect: In front of a large cross, Ms Mehr ponders about a world that no longer needs God. The profound and pictorial round dance shows six poetic views from the fields of religion, art, science, future vision and history.

Perpetuum will also take place in light to medium rain (except for severe weather warning, storm etc.). We recommend sturdy shoes and rainwear. Please refrain from using umbrellas. There are not always paved paths. Unfortunately, this means that the production can only be experienced with limited accessibility.
