Weinheim | Shadow Forest
Shadow Forest is a site-specific theater play taking place in the darkness of the forest. Theater Anu creates with its sensual and quite metaphorical language a walk-on-able magical forest. The visitors get laterns and are leaded in groups through the night. The one hour lasting performance is crossing dramatical scenes, light shows, Tableux vivants and shadow play. Figures, out of reality, send visitors on new ways or will receive them at wondrous light gates. Experience the famous fairy tales of the brothers Grimm in an extraordinary way: as an archive of past times where wishing would help and trees could speak.

Please use the designated parking spaces around the Schlossplatz / Red Tower Street. It is at the entrance Exotenwald no turning possibility!
Rain
Shadow Forest is also used in mild to moderate rain held (except storm warning, storm, etc.). We recommend sturdy footwear and rainwear. Please refrain from umbrellas. There are not always paved paths trodden. The staging is so unfortunately only conditionally accessible experience. If the event has to be canceled due to weather before reaching one hour of playing time, the ticket entitles entry to another day of Shadow Forest.
