The Queen of the Night keeps nothing less than a piece of the Garden of Eden behind high walls! Once a year they invite to a masquerade ball and look for people among the visitors to celebrate with them in their mysterious garden. Who will be among the chosen ones? A lustful game begins...
Familiar things from INKOGNITO I like the hunt for marbles or the play with your own fantasies have their place as well as new performances from the theatre ANU world and the unique songs and sounds of THE METAFICTION CABARET.
INKOGNITO 1
A mysterious jester has invited guests to found a new kingdom with him. It will only exist for a few hours. So short that there is no time to pass laws and norms. And so, for one night, a place is created outside the world, alive and (fool)free.
As the master of ceremonies of the evening, he seduces the visitors with masks, games and dance to surrender to the attraction of the interpersonal.
Shimmering marbles become coveted objects, table telephones promise erotic fantasies, masked creatures seduce visitors into daring games.
Play, performance, live music, make-up, moment, dance.
INKOGNITO are evenings that move us for a long time and leave us feeling alive.

INKOGNITO is a project by Theatre ANU in the framework of ARS AMATORIA in collaboration with THE METAFICTION CABARET.

Ambivalent piano sounds. Unbridled beats. Passionate guitar riffs. Abysmal voices that pine for imperfection. These are the trademarks of THE METAFICTION CABARET, this unique band formed in 2013 from the subculture of the Berlin theatre and performance scene.
The front singer Johanna has been associated with Theater ANU as a performer for many years, and for INKOGNITO Marc, Kai and Richard are now not only on stage as singers and musicians, but also mingle with the audience!
The Ballhaus Berlin
In Berlin's oldest ballroom still in its original state, you can breathe the air of the "wild twenties".
The ornate ballroom with table telephones and its gallery accessible via a spiral staircase become the setting for our sensual masquerade ball.
