The reverie of shadows
as part of the Night of 1000 Lights, Siegen Castle Park
When night falls over the castle park and thousands of lights shine between the trees, a mysterious festival begins. Shadows appear on paths and meadows, fleeting images emerge in the interplay of light and darkness. Small stages of poetic images open up all over the park. Stroll through this nocturnal dreamscape, discover light art, shadow play and poetic theatre scenes - and become part of the action yourself. The Theater Anu from Berlin has often made the Night of 1000 Lights an unforgettable experience with its productions such as "The Great Journey" or "Perpetuum" and is continuing this tradition this year with the interactive reverie of shadows. The Night of 1000 Lights is being organised in cooperation with VisitSiegen. From the banks of the River Sieg to the market square and the castle park, the city will be transformed into a sparkling sea of lights with a varied programme on both evenings.
