Trees bathed in light have faces, puddles of water reflect mysteriously shimmering
Worlds, burning shoes climb a ladder towards the sky... Theater ANU takes the visitors on an installation course of light, sound, sculpture and live performance. A journey to the ultimate questions, to beginnings and endings, to the child we once were, who never gives up hope, to celebrate life. Philosophical. Profound. Sensual. Poetic.
Stories and poems set to music by classical authors such as Ovid, Pythagoras and Rilke to the poetic texts of ANU author Stefan Behr in combination with storytelling, physical theatre, light, video and sculpture installations await visitors to the winter Tempelhof.

Normal price: 18.- EUR / reduced 12.- EUR
Admission is free up to and including the age of 12 (accompanied by an adult).
Reduction for students, the unemployed and people with disabilities (in the case of severe disability with the mark "B", the accompanying person receives free admission).
You can't afford a ticket right now? No problem. As with almost all events, we have a contingent of free tickets. Just send us a short email to info@theater-anu.de - you don't need to explain yourself either - and we'll give you free admission.

Playing times/admission times:
The course is open from 6-8.30 pm each day. There are 2 Admission times: 6pm and 7pm, Maximum 200 people per admission time. Plan approx. 60 min dwell time, to see all the stations.
Venue:
Area between Tempelburger and Luftgarten, entrance Columbiadamm.
Box office:
The box office opens at 5.30 pm. Remaining tickets at the box office
Exclusively entrance Columbiadamm!!!
IMPORTANT: Please note that all other entrances to Tempelhofer Feld will be closed at 5 pm! Come directly to the main entrance Columbiadamm!

U 8 | U-Bhf Leinestraße or Boddinstraße (approx. 15-20 min. to the entrances at Columbiadamm)

Rain / Snow / Storm
DEM HIMMEL SO NAH will also take place in light rain or snow (except in case of severe weather warning, storm etc.). We recommend warm and sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing (rainwear). Please refrain from using umbrellas. There are not always paved paths. Unfortunately, this means that the production can only be experienced with limited accessibility.
Should the performance have to be cancelled due to weather conditions within the first 45 minutes after admission (see ticket for admission times), the ticket is valid for another performance of THE HEAVEN SO NEAR.
