By the River of Light
THE TOPS OF MORALAND

A river of 40,000 candles flows through the town of Idar-Oberstein. The river "Nahe", built over in the 80s with the federal road 41, had once decisively shaped the image of the gemstone town. Today, instead of water, only traffic flows, except on two nights in May...

A fantastic plot: The foreign people of MoraLand have arrived in Idar-Oberstein. Every one hundred years they come to the place in the Nahe valley to have the "Obersteine", which have been carefully cultivated in their land, cut. On the banks of the River of Lights, visitors learn more about the wondrous guests, the importance of light and water for the cutting art of the Obersteine and why the strange beings have built this River of Lights for two nights.
