Bad Hersfeld | To the stars!
A production in the framework of the festival
ANOTHER SUMMER. Bad Hersfeld - City of stories
What is it that draws us so magically to the starry night sky? The longing for other worlds? The idea that someone might be living above us? Or the search for
new habitats? And where will we go when the world ends? The first person to think about this was Noah, and he built himself an ark to survive the great flood. Today
the visions go much further: the conquest of space has long since begun. In "Biosphere 2", people are already practising for the worst when things get too crowded here. A fantastic fantasy or already reality?
Jules Verne's extraordinary journeys into a world of the day after tomorrow are a mix of wild fantasy, the latest scientific discoveries, megalomania and escapism.
A crazy Jules Verne night with the Bad Hersfeld Festival ensemble, theatre ANU, live radio plays, large projections in the ruins and live music.
