Theatre Anu - Poetic Worlds

The Berlin theatre ANU has dedicated itself to a sensory-sensual theatre dedicated to encounters. To this end, the ensemble builds immersive worlds in public spaces.

For the Saar Dance Festival, Theatre ANU transform the cultural heritage of the East into a place outside of time. Chimeras (illusions of being and appearance, half human, half animal) are sent into the cage to be let loose on each other in the old arena tradition. Who is too The Cage comes, is invited to perceive themselves and find out what the encounter with the monstrous triggers in them and what it means to go from voyeur to actor, to finally feel themselves in the dance.
