THEATRE ANU IN COLLABORATION WITH BARTEL MEYER
Engelland travelled to Newcastle in England in 2010. Inspired by the "Angel of the North" stature, Theater Anu staged the "Legend of the Winged Boy" for 1600 years of Hadrian`s Wall. Stefan Behr wrote the story of the Winged Boy who was able to cross the Roman border and thus ushered in the end of Roman rule.
When the last bard falls silent
and bury all the storytellers.
When the scriptures turn to dust
and the names of the Roman rulers are forgotten,
