Implementation
With four dancers and two musicians, we will be immersing ourselves for five days into the new Congress Centrum Heidenheim "enclose" and explore the architecture. We will show the result at the ceremony as well as at the Open Day, where visitors can watch our ensemble for several hours, meet our dancers and musicians. We stage figures, choreographies, scenes on the different rooms, their functionality and the architectural features such as the very long staircase of the foyer. The dancers are present the entire time during the Open Day, group choreographies and individual numbers are developed as well as an interactive sound installation.
For the ceremony we stage a "blind date": the new theatre stage is illuminated from the darkness, a slow fade-in of the new space, accompanied by a dance of two "light beings" who reveal their body contours to the audience solely by means of hundreds of coloured light points.
