GLUT
FROM THE FIRE CHRONICLE OF A TOWN

In the beginning there was fire.
And the fire was the beginning.
The end will also be fire.
All-consuming fire...

The song of the Stahls in GLUT

GLUT tells the story of the development of cities and the special role played by fire. This is skilfully combined with motifs from Greek mythology: Pandora becomes the founder of the city. Hermes is commissioned by Zeus to find a way to wrest the Promethean fire back from mankind. But how is this to be done? The messenger of the gods travels through the 8000-year history of the cities and finally finds a cunning solution...

The production is a theatrical parcours of different scenes: After the introductory concert in the Forge of Hephaestus, six scenes on the history of the cities can be experienced. Once you have completed these, you move on to the second part: a glimpse into the future.
