The King Who Couldn’t Sleep
A HOMAGE TO THE CHILD IN ALL OF US
The King Who Couldn’t Sleep is a small, wonderful shadow play: an old king has been having sleepless nights. No-one knows what to do about it. Then one morning the door of the grandfather clock opens and a small boy speaks from inside. The king recognise himself in the boy – himself as a child. An encounter which reminds the old king of his childhood dreams. A fairy-tale in shadows for grown-ups.
Ca. 10 minutes, can be played for 3 hours in a continuous loop.
